Pamela Ayo Yetunde is a Community Dharma Leader and a Zen student. She is a pastoral counselor with Center of the Heart and is the co-editor of Black and Buddhist: What Buddhism Can Teach Us About Race, Resilience, Transformation and Freedom, as well as other books and articles. Recognizing the potential for Buddhists to create the world they practice for, she co-founded Buddhist Justice Reporter to help bear witness to the criminal, and now civil trials focused on the torture and murder of George Floyd. She recently joined Lion’s Roar as an associate editor. Ayo would like to dialogue with more Buddhist practitioners contemplating their part in making our world more just.
